It sounds just like Taylor Swift's hit single Bad Blood but with one clear - and very important - difference. The message is we're fed up of tax being placed on women's sanitary products.

British comedians Cariad Lloyd (Have I Got News For You, Cardinal Burns and Give-Out Girls) and Jenny Bede (Episodes and Murder In Successville) created the witty anthem to promote their campaign to axe the five percent tax placed on women's tampons and towels because they're considered a 'luxury' item by the government.

In the song, the pair target Chancellor of the Excheqeur George Osbourne, asking him to “scrap the tax - whyd'ya think your box is red?”

Other brilliant lines include “It's so sad to think you make us pay until we die, so ladies now for your bad blood, why not try using a dishcloth?” and “because if it don't go soon, bad blood will flow”.

In keeping with Swift's star-studded video, the song is complete with a host of female comedians including Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy in Game Of Thrones), Rachel Parris (presenter on Thronecast and member of improvised comedy group Austentatious) and sketch trio Birthday Girls posing as period-inspired characters, such as Madame Ovary, Jenn Da Bias, Oestro Jen and Aunti Flo.
