In what could possibly be the only good news to come out of 2016 so far, Netflix has just announced the launch of their new offline mode – meaning you can now watch your favourite films and shows without the faff of an internet connection.
Simply click the download button on the details page of anything in Netflix’s enormous library and it will automatically save to your computer, laptop or phone, ready to watch whenever you want.
In an announcement made on the streaming giant’s website, Eddy Wu, Director of Product Innovation, said, “While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we’ve often heard they also want to continue their Stranger Things binge while on airplanes and other places where Internet is expensive or limited.”
“Many of your favorite streaming series and movies are already available for download, with more on the way, so there is plenty of content available for those times when you are offline,” he added.
Available shows include favourites such as Orange Is The New Black, Narcos and The Crown.
To use the service, simply upgrade your Netflix app to the latest version, and get set for the binge-watch-marathon of your life.
Game changing.
