Game of Thrones secured 32 Emmy nominations for its finale season in total this week, including lead actor/actress nods for Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke.

Lena Headey, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams all appear alongside Christie in the supporting actress group, while Allen will be going head-to-head with his co-stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Peter Dinklage for the supporting actor Emmy.

“I can’t believe it!” an elated Christie wrote on Twitter, as news of the nomination came through on Tuesday. “Thank you universe!”

Van Houten also shared a link to nominations, remarking that: “The summer is hot and full of surprises !! very honoured!”

It’s not unusual for a show on the scale of Game of Thrones to divide and rule when it comes to award nominations, in the hope of securing wins for its strongest contenders. Hollywood Reporter says there are no hard feelings between the cast and network in this particular situation.

The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards will be held in September.
