“Loads of shagging”

This is a theme identified by, well, nearly everyone we asked. When quizzing our colleagues on what they knew about Game of Thrones in general, it looks like “shagging” is the very first thing that springs to everyone’s minds.

“That’s all I know about GoT: death and shagging,” said one Stylist employee. “Loads of shagging,” agreed another. Oh, and “loads of boobs,” was the third observation made by our fellow colleagues.

Is it kind of weird that we’re all obsessed with a show mainly known for the sheer amount of sex in it? Hmm…

“The girl with the dragons has to win”

And by ‘win’ we think they mean, oh you know, only taking control and ultimate power over the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, sitting on the Iron Throne, forcing all four houses to bend the knee and becoming victorious in the biggest battle to ever happen.

They know not what they say. Yes, the idea that Daenerys is a Mother to Dragons, is not the most realistic storyline but this is thrilling fantasy drama people, it’s not meant to be!

So we’re refusing to take that the Lady of Dragonstone, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms and The Unburnt is known as this to the outside world. We’ll forget we ever asked.
