Flowers and tonics and gin, oh my!
Gin, thanks to the delicate blend of juniper, coriander, angelica, orange peel, lemon peel, cardamom, cinnamon, grains of paradise, cubeb berries and nutmeg, is already a dream come true for botanists.
But now our favourite boozy blend of botanicals is set to get even more intense, thanks to a brand-new collaboration from Bloom & Wild and Sipsmith.

The celebrated florists have helped Sipsmith distillers to muddle freshly picked flowers with their iconic London Dry Gin.
Writing on their website, Bloom & Wild reveal that Sipsmith used “2g hibiscus petals, 7g rose petals, 1g lemon verbena leaves, 3x borage flowers and 1x marigold flower” to create the heady new drink.
They then steeped the mixture for half an hour, before teaming it with tonic and sampling the results.
The result is a bold, complex, and beautifully aromatic gin – which is coloured a pretty pink hue.

However Bloom & Wild haven’t stopped there with their foray into the world of alcohol.
They explain that they’re getting fully involved in all the London Cocktail Week fun, saying: “We also have tasty cocktail pastilles that can be added to any bouquet.
“Each packet contains great flavours like berry daiquiri, whisky sour and gin & tonic (to name a few).”
However they have warned consumers to munch responsibly – as each pastille has an alcoholic volume of 6%.
The collaboration is set to be unveiled at London Cocktail Week, which takes place Monday 3 October to Sunday 9 October.
