Great news if you and your significant other are huge fans of the Harry Potter film franchise – you can spend your Valentine’s enjoying a romantic meal in Hogwarts' great hall.
Warner Bros. are hosting two nights of romantic set tours on 13 or 14 February 2016, as part of its 'Valentine's Dinner in the Great Hall' event. Though we hope you've been saving those knuts and sickles, as tickets will set you back £247.50 per person.
Guests will be treated to welcome drinks, including an intoxicating ‘Love Potion’ cocktail to set the mood, before making their way to the iconic great hall where they will enjoy a three-course meal.
While not Potter-themed, the menu sounds divine, with smoked salmon for starters and lamb rack for mains, or for vegetarians, smoked artichokes followed by goats cheese gnocchi (see full list below).
The iconic long tables will be absent for the night in favour of individual tables for two to keep things intimate.
After the feast, couples will be able to enjoy after-hours access to the Studio Tour and sneak a visit to favourite Harry Potter locations like Dumbledore's office, the Weasley kitchen, and not forgetting: Platform 9 ¾.
To add to the authenticity of the night, guests will enjoy a Butterbeer in the backlot café, before wandering up shopping street Diagon Alley and then concluding the visit at the Hogwarts castle model for after-dinner tea, coffee and petit fours.
The tour ends when the clock strikes 12, but guests won’t leave empty handed – everyone will receive their chosen wand to take home.
If this sounds like your idea of a magical Valentine’s then you can purchase tickets from 13 January. Find out more at wbstudiotour.co.uk/valentines.
