When should you move in with your boyfriend or girlfriend?
While most of us enjoy thinking about taking that next big step, the reality doesn't always live up to the fantasy. There's always the possibility that it won't be the domestic dream you hoped and you'll end up arguing over who has, or rather hasn't, put the lid back on the top of the toothpaste.
Essentially, you don't want your relationship to progress only to stumble at the first sight of a couple of smelly socks, the dishes not getting done and an argument over whose turn it is to take out the bins.
Thankfully, San Francisco-based online magazine The Bold Italic has created a flowchart to help you decide whether you're ready for the grand move.
To start, you have to consider the length of time you've been with your significant other. If you've been together for over a year, are ready to combine your stuff and leave your stuff at their place all the time and , then you're more than likely ready to move in together.
However, if you've not been together for long, have broken up a couple of times or and still shave your legs, perhaps it's not quite the right time.
