Love Instagram, but feel like you're always missing the prettiest or most news-worthy grams? Then this change to the app will make you very happy.

Instagram has announced that it's introducing an algorithm that will alter the way your feed displays, according to what you've shown the most interest in. So posts which seem similar to those you've interacted with before will be weighted to appear earlier in your feed, irrespective of time.

The news comes as the app's makers reveal that on average we miss 70% of posts from those we follow. That's a pretty staggering number of avocado on toast shots, #Goals-worthy hair/holidays/interiors and big announcements from our favourite influencers and celebrities.
