Julia Roberts brilliantly shuts down troll on Instagram

You crossed Julia Roberts? Big mistake. Huge.

Julia Roberts has had the kind of career only one can dream of. She’s been the leading lady in many great films – from Pretty Woman to Eat, Pray, Love – and she’s scooped so many awards for her onscreen presence that, quite frankly, we’ve lost count.

Which is why she demands more than a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T (and rightly so, too).

Roberts, who’s relatively new to Instagram, clocked a post this week that compares her to the legendary Hollywood actress Joan Crawford.

In the post, the two actresses are wearing similar black dresses. But it’s 2018, and no-one (especially Roberts) has time for a post that pits two women against one another.

One user’s comment read: “Joan Crawford looks way better in my opinion more classic and refined and Julia is wearing ugly black nail polish!”

Roberts wasted no time in clapping back with the utmost grace and compsure, of course.

“It is in fact a navy polish with garnets crystals as a grounding accent,” Roberts wrote.

“In case you would like to edit your comment from ‘ugly black nail polish’ to ugly navy polish with Garnet crystals. Just sayin’”

Another case in point that what you put out there is being read by all – including celebrities.

We are not worthy, Roberts.
