If you were a fan of Gilmore Girls during its original 2000-2007 run, you’ll likely be aware that everyone’s favourite fast-talking, coffee-swilling, small-town mother-daughter duo are soon to return to our screens.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will premiere across the world on Netflix on 25 November 2016, in a reunion run consisting of just four 90-minute episodes. Each will focus on a different season – although it’s not yet clear whether Netflix will release all of the episodes at once, or stagger them over a period of time.

And to ramp up anticipation for Lorelei, Rory, Luke, Sookie et al’s return, Netflix has just released a new featurette video – in which the present-day cast discuss what it is that makes Gilmore Girls so special.
