Lizzo once performed on Made in Chelsea. Yes, self-love guru and musical genius Lizzo of Juice, Boys and Jerome fame once appeared on the show about very, very posh people. Bizarre, right?

It happened in 2014, just one year after her debut album Lizzobangers was released. The MIC cast filmed a special summer series in New York, which was aptly titled Made in Chelsea: NYC. It was the series that saw Louise Thompson meet Alik Alfus, Binky Felsted recovering after her split from Alex Mytton and Mark Francis hosting a little boat affair on the Hudson.

And, according to the below video clip, it was Lizzo’s debut on British television. The star performed a rendition of Blondie’s Rapture while Watson, Felsted and co awkwardly danced in the audience. Little did they know that they were watching an icon in the making who would go on to take Glastonbury and the VMAs by storm.
