First came the Fitbit and the aim of getting 10,000 steps a day, then came the Apple Watch with added features like heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking. Now, there's a new wearable in town – and it will reveal which of your friends (or colleagues) stress you out the most.

Dubbed the WellBe, the latest wrist strap monitor claims to be the first ever "anti-stress biofeedback bracelet and app" and is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter. It works by tracking the wearer's heart rate and uses a special algorithm to determine stress levels. It then connects to a dedicated app which syncs with the wearer's calendar to pinpoint stress triggers and challenging situations – such as a dreaded work meeting, or a dinner date with a demanding friend.
