Stop everything and pay attention, because the foodie combo festival of our dreams has been made reality.

That’s right: pizza and prosecco (a duo we thought was reserved only for girls’ nights in at our humble abodes) is finally getting the country-wide recognition it deserves.

The sacred double-P pairing is being celebrated with an extras-special event which is touring its way around the UK, which can only mean one thing: melted cheese and bubbles for everyone.

Interested? We figured you would be.

The festival will frequent 15 lucky towns while spreading foodie fun, including Liverpool, Manchester, Reading and Bristol.

Exact venues for every city are yet to be confirmed but locations and dates are as follows:

Cardiff – 27th August

Liverpool – 2nd September

Manchester – 16th September

Lincoln – 7th October

Wolverhampton – 21st October

Reading – 28th October

Bristol – 28th October

Glasgow – 4th November

Cotswolds – 4th November

Salisbury – 11th November

Leeds – 17th November

Cambridge – 24th November

London – 25th November

Cheltenham – 2nd December

Southampton – 16th December

Birmingham – 16th December

The festival’s Facebook page promises attendees copious delights, including plenty of foodie pop-ups, 20 different types of prosecco, sparkling champagne cocktails and, of course, lots and lots of pizza.

But don’t be fooled – this festival won’t just cater to your taste buds. In fact, it thoughtfully caters for your vocal chords too, with sing-a-long pop classics and live music all day.

Tickets are a bargain at £10 each, guaranteeing you entry to the event, a glass of prosecco and an essential copy of the (probably) critically acclaimed Pizza & Prosecco Bible – you’re on your own from that point on, though, so don’t forget your pizza pocket money.
