Blogger Amy Erickson is looking to shake up a dinner party near you by offering the wackiest, most creative and indulgent recipes.

Her blog Oh, Bite It! is packed with weird and wonderful recipes for party snacks, dinners and desserts.

With a goal to simply bring fun food back to the kitchen, Erickson says, "I am not a trained Chef, and I don’t take food too seriously..I just find it fun to keep things interesting in the kitchen!"

She makes every creation accessible by including step-by-step guides on how to make them. "If there’s a recipe shortcut, I’m never above taking it!" writes Erickson. "I also believe that ingredients don’t have to be expensive, if your imagination is priceless!"

While some ingredients are American, these recipes are tempting enough to find British alternatives.
