Almost exactly a year ago, the snacking world was shaken to the core when news broke of a three-floor cafe devoted entirely to Cadbury Creme Eggs.

For some, it was heaven brought to Earth in restaurant-form – drunk with the giddy reality of a whole menu incorporating the seasonal treats, for those people the possibility of a Creme Egg toastie became a glittering beacon illuminating the dark corners of January with its fondant promise.

For others, it was nothing more than a tantalising tease, a glimpse of Creme Eggs and soldiers, of what could have been. A sugary slap in the face to anyone who didn’t live in that there London, where it was popping up for its all too brief appearance.

And so it is with great pleasure that we can breathlessly reveal the Creme Egg Café is back – and this time, it’s touring the UK.
