If you needed a little light relief from the ongoing turmoil that is British politics right now, look no further.
Beloved artisan spirits-maker Sipsmith is sending a cab across the streets of London to celebrate World Gin Day this Saturday (10 June).
The classic black taxi comes bearing wondrous goodies in the form of Sipsmith gins, alongside one pair of tickets to its coveted World Gin Day party.
This secret soiree takes place at the mysterious “Juniper Manor” and is being run in association with immersive theatre experts Gingerline. The event has long sold out, so this would be the last chance for gin-lovers to sample “a glorious immersive fusion of set design, interactive performance and more than a few gin-drenched gastronomic secrets”.
So, what do you have to do to hail this magical vessel?
Post on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook tagging @Sipsmith and using the hashtag #WorldGinDay and say why you deserve their treasure trove of gin-themed prizes.
For example, “‘I’m hailing the @Sipsmith Gin Cab for #WorldGinDay, I’m in the park with my mates and we’ve got nothing to drink! Sarah, Hyde Park” (a step up from, “Oi! Give me some gin!”)
The folks at Sipsmith say this is “the perfect way for you to enjoy a tipple on us”.
The cab only delivers from the capital and the scheme starts at 12pm on Saturday. Get gin-in!
