This week's lunchtime masterclass is with Gizzi Erskine; chef, food writer and a leading innovator of the UK's underground and pop-up food scenes.
Best known for presenting Channel 4's Cook Yourself Thin, Gizzi has also published the hugely successful Gizzi's Kitchen Magic and her latest book Skinny Weeks and Weekend Feasts, as well as fronting TV shows Cooks To Market, Cookery School and Drop Down Menu.
She is the new Sunday Times cook with a weekly column in the Sunday Times Magazine.
Gizzi has opened five pop-ups in the past three years; one with Innocent Smoothies at the Tramshed in Shoreditch, one at Clarence House in association with START, A Tiki Lounge at Bestival, an East London gourmet pie shop and K Town at Concrete in Shoreditch which took inspiration from the Korean hole-in-the-wall scene in New York.
Her most recent venture saw Gizzi host a cookery and cabaret stage at Latitude Festival with demonstrations, live food-related cabaret acts, live bands and DJ sets from Gizzi herself.
