Praise be, Domino’s has made a chocolate pizza

Do you remember the golden age of chocolate pizza?

You’d probably be sat next to a family member, watching them slather Nutella onto a doughy base, and you’d both get away with munching the contraband foodstuff purely because one of the cooks exuded youth and innocence.

But now, the days of chocolate pizza validation have come. Dominos, knowing a solid market when they see one, have decided to bring Lotta-Chocca pizza in our lives -- and the good news is, it only costs £4.99

“We’re delighted to add the new Lotta-Chocca pizza to our menus, as it makes the perfect after dinner treat for chocolate lovers nationwide,” said Dominos spokesperson Louise Butler.

“It’s already proving very popular so we’d suggest that people do try it quickly whilst stocks last, though we’d also remind Domino’s super fans that it is a sharing dessert for four, not all for one!”

If, like us, you have never managed to share a pizza in your entire lives, we will offer no judgement.

Although it’s a strange feast, we imagine that it will proffer far less controversy than a ham and pineapple pizza, casually known as the Hawaiian.

Earlier on this year, Iceland’s Prime Minister Guðni Th. Jóhannesson was so disgusted by the fruity foodstuff featuring on our doughy friends that he hoped to ban it as a topping entirely.

After a minor outcry, the leader of the Nordic nation then clarified his stance.

“I do not have the power to make laws which forbid people to put pineapples on their pizza,” he wrote on Facebook.

“I am glad I do not hold such power.”

And after looking at Domino’s latest pizza offerings, we don’t think that a Lotta Chocca is that outlandish.

You can currently purchase concoctions named ‘Misc. Forever Alone Bert Supreme’, ‘Slice Slice Baby’ and ‘Hot Beef Injection’.
