The pop-up bar will arrive in the city in time for Christmas celebrations.

Mark your calendars and call your friends because a peanut-butter fondue bar is coming to town.

If, like us, you thought the nutty good stuff was for smearing on crackers, dousing in chocolate or spreading on bagels, then those at Whole Earth have now shown us there’s indeed another way to enjoy it – Seventies style.

Opening in Shoreditch this month, the pop-up fondue feast will take place for two days only – so don’t hang around.

Not only will you get to indulge in peanut butter for a whole two hours, but you can mix things up a bit with both sweet and savoury options.

Surrounded by plush interiors and warming aromas, it’s sure to be the perfect setting to start celebrating Christmas (or merely your love of good peanut butter). And when the night comes to an end, you’ll leave with all the information and knowledge you need to recreate the dishes at your next dinner party.

The pop-up bar will be at Perserverance Works on Hackney Road, just a 10-minute walk from Old Street station or an eight-minute walk from Shoreditch High Street station.

Tickets cost £4.99 per person, with sessions between 11am and 8pm on Friday 24 November and between 11am and 4pm on Saturday 25 November – you can buy here. And you can bring a party of up to four people with you for all the nut fondue and dipping snacks you could possibly eat.

Seventies-style fondue with a modern twist? Yes, please.
