Wow! That's all we can say about the number of delicious, delectable and downright bizarre lunch choices we've received since we launched our show us your lunch competition last month. From homemade Korean delicacies to a Spanish-themed Friday afternoon meal, we've got everything you could possibly imagine in lunch entries.

The competition is now closed and a winner has been chosen, scooping a luxury gourmet break for two on the Isle of Wight. Take a look at some of the entries below...

    Shan Tomato Salad: My friend Tristan knows I love experimenting with recipes, so he sent me this recipe all the way from Burma. It was so good I took the left overs in for my lunch. I love the spicy, nutty flavours against the bitter cabbage, juicy tomatoes and fresh lime. It's best served with Shan noodles and a cold beer, but as I was at work I had to make do with some pre-cooked king prawns and sprinkle of peanuts! Yum.

    My “Sorting out my life” lunch - this is due to the fact I had a lot of issues to solve on this day. Toast with Philadelphia cream cheese and avocado, seasoned with salt and pepper, toast with organic peanut butter, honey and sliced banana sprinkled with cinnamon, a glass of Greek yogurt with honey and peach granules, all finished off with a mug of peppermint tea.

    Happy Birthday Lunch. This delicious dish is called... Chicken wrapped in smoked salmon, with a watercress sauce. I have just cooked this for my Dad's 79th Birthday. The combination of the ingredients and textures are delightful. Greek style natural yogurt, mascarpone cheese, a little white wine and some chopped watercress. Mix together, pop into the oven for 30mins. Serve with fresh vegetables....Outstanding!
