We know that celebrities don't have "normal" lives. Sure, they might look like they wear the same jeans as us but theirs are probably actually from Marni, not Pri-marni.

Other benefits of being a celebrity, include being driven places instead of taking the sweaty Tube, eating at the best restaurants and not having to queue (they probably don't have to wait ages outside the newest trendy London eaterie), and just generally being told you're fabulous all of the time.

However, there's one aspect of a star's life, which we can't get our heads round: strange meals. Below, you can see the work of Italian artist Dan Bannino, who has photographed some of the stranger diets of the famous.

Case in point: Beyoncé's mega cleanse diet and poet Lord Byron supposedly used to snack on a meal of soda water and biscuits (yum?). Politician Bill Clinton's odd cabbage meal is also included, as is Kate Moss' less-than-healthy diet of alcohol and cigarettes. Come to think of it, you probably don't "eat" that one, but you know what we mean.

Let's just say we won't be trying any of them anytime soon.
