Whether you’re a fully-fledged vegan, a lifelong veggie or merely curious about a new way of life, we‘ve rounded up the best of the UK’s vegan events to see you through to the end of the year.

Mark your calendars, plant-based friends, as veganism is taking over the streets of the UK with a series of food and drink festivals and celebrations. From alfresco summer affairs to a vegan take on Oktoberfest, you can expect an array of green-thinking indulgence – and something for every tastebud, too.

2 - 31 August: V For Festival, London

Kicking off on 2nd August with ‘Vegan Nights’ which promises the “best of the UK’s vegan scene with a party vibe”, this month-long extravaganza based at The Old Truman Brewery in London’s Shoreditch aims to promote a conscious way of living among vegans, vegetarians, and “curious individuals” alike with workshops, demonstrations, shopping, parties and more. What‘s more, Brick Lane Food Hall will be offering only vegetarian and vegan food on the weekend of 4-5 August, while local restaurants and bars will be offering special vegan menus for the duration of the month.
