Even if you plan an early night and follow every single sleep tip going, you can still wake up feeling less than refreshed. Sound familiar? Then you’ll want to download this new sleep app, ASAP.
Sleep Calendar calculates the right bedtime for you based on what time you need to get up – giving you four options of the exact times to hit the hay.

It’s based on the idea that your body has a natural sleep rhythm and should go through five or six sleep cycles a night, which last around 90 minutes – so you could get less sleep and feel more refreshed, as long as you’re not waking in the middle of a cycle. It also factors in an extra 14 minutes on top - the average amount of time it takes to fall asleep.
The app’s website explains: "Getting a good night's sleep is about more than simply going to bed early – it's about waking up at the right time too."
"Using a formula based on the body's natural rhythms, the Sleep Calculator will work out the best time for you to rise or go to sleep."
We tested it out based on the Stylist team’s morning schedules:
Wake up time: 6:15am
The ideal bedtimes are 9:01 pm, 10:31 pm, 12:01 am or 1:31 am.
Wake up time: 7:30am
The ideal bedtimes are 10:16 pm, 11:46 pm, 1:16 am or 2:46 am.
