The writers in this week's issue are very different, albeit very familiar.

Stylist is marking its 300th issue this week with a special edition made by the country’s top MPs.

Now a birthday tradition for Stylist, this is the third time the magazine has handed the editorial pages over to a different group of people, having marked the 100th edition with an issue made by readers and the 200th with celebrities.

The ambitious 300th issue project brings together a cross-party spectrum of MPs and leaders to create an eye-opening collection of features, sharing parts of their lives the public don’t normally see.

As well as offering an alternative and compelling insight into the lives of the people who run the country, the 300th issue of Stylist also sees each MP including a ‘Pledge to Women’. This is an opportunity for them to spell out the policies and ideas that affect women that they will be focussing on over the next year.

Importantly, this special edition of Stylist, which is published on Wednesday 13 January, also represents one of the few times politicians from across the political spectrum have combined to create something special for those they represent.
