Turns out there are a lot of people who live in London who love cats and hate adverts in equal measure. Because a far-fetched campaign to cover all of the advertising space at an Underground station with pictures of moggies has raised enough funds to become a reality.

Back in April, The Citizens Advertising Takeover Service (yes, you've got it: CATS, for short) started crowdfunding on Kickstarter and has now successfully reached its target, raising over £23,000 for a feline tube station takeover. The group chose Clapham Common for the project, with all posters, banners and barrier covers at the station now covered with photos of felines.
