The most inspirational foodies to follow on Instagram

Published

If you're a foodie and you're on Instagram, you're probably in love with the likes of Ella Woodward who runs the incredible Deliciously Ella blog as well as the sisters Jasmine and Melissa Hemsley who run Hemley + Hemsley

But despite our admiration for the above, we've selected many other brilliant chefs, bloggers and photographers for you to follow on Instagram as well, who can offer up bits of advice on what to eat and where to eat. And of course give you a few tips on how to shoot your dishes too.

Behold, our top 10 inspirational foodie Instagram feeds you need to be following right now.

  • Meal Prep Mondays

Food prepping for the week ahead doesn't sound exactly rock 'n' roll but it's guaranteed to make you eat better, feel better and save you time in the mornings.

  • Meal Prep Mondays

Best of all it offers meal plans and tips to ease you into getting organised about your eating on a weekly basis.

Not only do you get great recipe ideas you could also visit the same places they visit too, as we're sure their recommendations for a decent breakfast are excellent.

  • Tasting Table

While this strictly a website they offer up such beautiful pictures of food we'd be mad not to include it. From ideas for salads such as this pumpkin, kale, whipped goat's cheese and radish creation to an apple and fennel salad.

  • Tasting Table

They also repost from other accounts so you can be sure that you'll also know who else you should be following through them.

We've also enjoyed seeing them post up strange combinations of foods including pomegranate and Brussels sprouts.

  • Smitten Kitchen

Another blog we've recently stumbled upon, the Smitten Kitchen Instagram feed is the stuff of our foodie dreams.

Not only that Smitten Kitchen's food is all cooked up in a tiny kitchen in New York by one woman Deb Perelman, who doesn't believe in fancy foods.

  • Smitten Kitchen

Deb reckons that anyone can cook with basic ingredients and it doesn't have to be fancy to taste good.

  • Utosh

While Utosh isn't a recipe blogger, he does love making food look pretty, which is inspiration enough for us.

  • Utosh

Based in Tokyo he shares photos of his daily meals. We especially love this one of baked beans, salad, fried egg and chocolate cake.

  • Utosh

He also has a brilliant line of napkins, so if anything we know we need to up our tableware game.

  • My Darling Lemon Thyme

New Zealander Emma Galloway started the blog on gluten free cooking after she discovered that she and her two children were gluten and lactose intolerant.

  • My Darling Lemon Thyme

Luckily, Emma's a professional chef and has come up with inventive and delicious ways to ensure that she and her children don't miss out but get all the nutrients they need.

  • My Darling Lemon Thyme

We also love the fact that she called the blog My Darling Lemon Thyme after her daughter Ada sang the old child's rhyme 'my darling clementine' wrong. Sweet.
