I emailed Republic of Photography, a company we often use for extremely flattering headshots in the magazine. They were more than happy to take me on at short notice and provide great, personalised touches like incorporating my invite design onto the photographs and actual booth.

And finally, after having my scent experience at Liberty, I got thinking about the overall scent for the day – probably a little too late in the day. Unfortunately, I can’t have candles in my venue, so scented candles were out, but reed diffusers could work perfectly. I went to the Neom shop in Wimbledon and had a good old sniff of all their scents (six in total) and decided on Complete Bliss, which invokes warm afternoons in Moroccan kasbahs, flanked by thousands of damask pink buds and blousy petals.

And let's face it, who doesn’t want their wedding to smell like that on a rainy, grey October afternoon…?
