A recent poll of 2,000 adults revealed four in 10 defined themselves as a foodie.

With more of us caring about the provenance of our food and the quality of the meals we spend our hard-earned salaries on, as well as turning to our own gardens for produce that is both cheaper and more satisfying than the supermarket veg aisle, just who wins the foodie crown these days?
