The sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker, is due to release in 2017, but the first trailer has already been leaked by a fan.
The 30-second teaser will feature on the first film's Blu-Ray and DVD release which is out on 8 May in America (The UK edition out on 30 June does not include the footage).
The short clip gives us a glimpse of Christian Grey (played by Jamie Dornan) suiting up in a formal tux and slipping on a masquerade mask.
The ominous music and dark lighting points to what Universal Studios chairman Donna Langley described as "more of a thriller" earlier this week.
Author E.L. James' husband Niall Leonard is to write the script. "He actually did a draft that wasn't credited on the first movie, and he did a really good job," said Langley.
While the teaser has been made, the film is yet to be appointed a director. Fifty Shades of Grey director Sam Taylor-Johnson said she "will not be returning to direct the sequels" in March, after openly spoke about creative tensions between her and James.
“For the record, the movie we ended up making is exactly the movie I wanted to make and that the studio wanted to make and that our director wanted to make,” added Langley.
