A woman in San Francisco was attacked for wearing Google Glass in a bar.

The assault took place last weekend at a San Francisco 'dive' bar called Molotov's.

Tech writer Sarah Slocum was showing her friend how to use the device in the bar when three other patrons took offence to her using it.

She was approached by two women and a man who reportedly started an altercation and pulled the glasses from her face. While she managed to get back her Google Glass, both her phone and purse were stolen.

According to reports, Slocum was recording scenes inside the bar, which the assailants protested against. They also said Slocum and her tech-type friends were "destroying the city".

Slocum took to her Facebook page later on to discuss the attack. She also uploaded a video of what happened (all recorded on her Google Glass, natch).
