We thought Adele couldn’t do anything to make us adore her anymore; how wrong we were.

At her concert last night at London’s O2 Arena as part of the tour for her third album, 25, the singer paid tribute to the victims of Tuesday’s terror attacks, in which more than 30 people were killed and 250 injured after suicide bombers target the Belgian capital’s airport and metro.

Opening the show by acknowledging the day’s tragic events, the singer said:

“Obviously when I woke up this morning and heard the terrible news about Brussels I felt a bit bad and sad about the fact that I was going to be doing a show.
