Amber Tamblyn – star of Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants – and her husband, David Cross, recently announced that they had welcomed their first child to the world.
But, when it came to revealing her name, the 33-year-old actor decided to have a little fun at our expense.
“[Her name is] Dauphinoise Petunia Brittany Scheherazade Von Funkinstein Mustard Witch RBG Cross Tamblyn-Bey Jr,” she wrote on Instagram.
Now she’s unveiled her little girl’s real name – and (slightly disappointingly) there’s not a Mustard Witch in sight.
In a roundabout way, Tamblyn announced her daughter’s name via politician and feminist badass Hillary Clinton.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a ‘happy [literal] birthday’ letter that Clinton had penned to her little girl.
“The one day I decide to put mascara on Hillary Clinton sends us this letter for our daughter. Crying now,” Tamblyn captioned an image of the note.
“A letter from one spectacular woman who has lived so much to another who has only just begun. My heart is as full as this diaper I'm about to change. Thank you, Hillary, grandmother to us all.”
What a way to welcome Marlow Alice Cross to the world.

For those wondering, the name Marlow is a unisex one, meaning “driftwood”, while Alice means “noble” and “kind”.
Meanwhile Clinton’s letter, which is directly addressed to Marlow, reads: “Your birth has been a source of great joy for your parents Amber and David, and your vast community of admirers and champions.
“I send my best wishes to you for a lifetime of amazing accomplishments and adventures, full of love, learning, and friendship.”
Does anyone else desperately want a birthday card from Hillary Clinton this year?
