If there’s one thing guaranteed from a film directed by, and starring, Amy Poehler, it’s side-splitting comedy.

Which is why the news that the Parks and Recreation actress is set to make her directorial debut on Netflix is the announcement we’ve all been waiting for.

Not only will Poehler star in the film, but she’s recruited her all-female team from Saturday Night Live to help her: Tina Fey, Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Paula Pell and Emily Spivey.

The film, Wine Country, is a comedy about a bunch of long-time friends who visit the Napa Valley to celebrate a 50th birthday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

At this moment in time details about the film are sparse, but we’re picturing a lot of wine, laughter and an homage to friendship.

Taking to Twitter, Netflix made the announcement on Tuesday 20 March with a short clip of the women singing ‘Whenever I Call You Friend’.

“It’s happening – Amy Poehler’s directorial debut, Wine Country, is coming soon to Netflix! Starring Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Paula Pell, Maya Rudolph, Emily Spivey and featuring Tina Fey. Get excited. Get real excited,” they wrote.
