There are some high-profile couples people can’t seem to help but be invested in, and Anna Faris and Chris Pratt have always had a core of fans branding them #relationshipgoals.

The pair announced the end of their eight-year marriage earlier this year, and now Faris has addressed the slightly bizarre idea of being idolised by others as an example of true love – saying she believes it’s because people could see their feelings toward each other were and are genuine.

Asked about the public reaction to their separation, Faris told people.com: “It’s understandable that people seemed so invested in our happiness together.

“All I can say about that is, it’s all true, that we truly adore each other, and we love each other, I think it still comes through.”
