When a suicide bomber detonated his device in the foyer of Manchester Arena on 22 May following her concert, killing 22 people and injuring 120 others, Grande was left “broken”.

After apologising to her fans on Twitter, the young singer cancelled upcoming concerts in London, Belgium, Poland and Germany, and returned to her hometown of Boca Raton in Florida to grieve – a move which Morgan condemned her for.

“I expected her to stay, visit, and comfort her wounded fans and relatives of those who died,” he tweeted at the time.

However, following Grande’s incredible Manchester One Love concert on Sunday (4 June), which saw her and countless other artists pay tribute to the victims of the terror attack and raise money for their families, Morgan felt compelled to reach out and apologise to her directly on Twitter.
