Best Film
The King’s Speech swept the board again, picking up seven gold headed gongs including Best Film and Outstanding British Film
Leading Actor
Colin Firth picked up another award for his performance in The King’s Speech
Leading Actress
Heavily pregnant Natalie Portman was unable to fly to London for the ceremony, but her Black Swan director, Darren Aronofsky, picked up her award for her and praised the actress’ dedication to her role
Supporting Actor
Australian actor Geoffrey Rush picked up the award for his performance in The King’s Speech
Supporting Actress
Helena Bonham Carter picked up the Bafta for her performance as the Queen Mother in The King's Speech

The Social Network director David Fincher wasn’t at the ceremony, but the film's stars Jessie Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield picked up his award for him
Orange Wednesdays Rising Star
Tom Hardy picked up this much lauded award, the only one voted for by the public
Visual Effects
This BAFTA deservedly went to Christopher Nolan’s jaw-dropping Inception
