It's a question that we're sure you'll always want the answer to: what has Benedict Cumberbatch been up to recently? Well, turns out he's been looking rather dapper on the cover of T, the New York Times Style magazine.
As part of an interview with the fashion magazine, Benedict discusses his career and the lead up to his meteoric rise. He also does a spot of modelling, which makes him look younger than his 37 years (not that we think he's old, but he does look very youthful here).
In the shoot, he's sporting a Ralph Lauren suit with short cropped hairdo, a little different to his dark curly mop we see in Sherlock. And speaking of his most famous role, he has a few choice words about the Baker Street residence.
“I always make it clear that people who become obsessed with him or the idea of him — he’d destroy you,” Cumberbatch said cheerfully. “He is an absolute bastard.”
Not sure that will stop the legions of fans, but you never know (actually we do, it definitely won't deter anyone).
On his career, he said that he regularly gets cast as the intellectual sort. In fact, he'd just finished shooting his most recent movie, a biopic of the British cryptographer Alan Turing. “I am so ready to play a really dumb character.” he said.
We'll leave you with just one final sentence, which is possibly the most important: "He is currently unattached."
Do what you will with that ladies.
