Congratulations are due to Cameron Diaz, who has welcomed in the New Year by becoming a Mrs., after tying the knot with her rocker boyfriend Benji Madden.

The Charlie's Angels actress, 42, and Good Charlotte musician partner, 35, said "I Do" in a candlelit ceremony at their home in Beverly Hills last night.

They "were married [Monday] evening in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles," a rep for the pair told People.

"We couldn't be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends," the couple said in a statement.

Benji and Cameron have been dating since last May and got engaged just before Christmas, after an introduction by Nicole Richie, who is married to Benji's twin brother Joel Madden.

Both Nicole and Joel attended the wedding, along with celebrity guests including Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon and Cameron's long-time Hollywood pal, and Charlie's Angels co-star, Drew Barrymore - who had a lead role as bridesmaid.
