Cara Delevingne has fired back at comments made about her by the actor Richard Madden.

Speaking to Style magazine, Madden appeared to criticise Delevingne for the infamously awkward television interview she gave to American breakfast show, Good Day Sacramento.

The Scottish actor, known for his role as Robb Start on Game of Thrones, gave his take on the interview, saying:

“It made her seem ungrateful. She showed her age.”

The actor explained that conducting such interviews is simply a part of the job:

“For Cinderella, I did six weeks of those interviews, where you get asked the same eight questions. If you’re not capable of doing that gracefully, then don’t do it,” he says.

The interview, that went viral over the summer, saw Delevingne clash with the presenters, when she was promoting her role in the film Paper Towns.

The interview got off to a bad start when one of the presenters accidentally called the model and actress ‘Carla’.

Then, one of the presenters asked Delevingne:

“Did you get a chance to read the book or do you even have time to sit and read these days as you’re so busy.”

To which she sarcastically responded:

“No I never read the book or the script, actually, I kind of winged-it.”
