Trump proves once again he’s threatened by women – especially Oprah Winfrey

Donald Trump takes to Twitter to challenge Oprah Winfrey to run for presidency in 2020 just so she can be “exposed and defeated”.

Since Oprah Winfrey took to the stage to receive the Cecil B. DeMille award during the Golden Globes last month, her inspirational speech on sexual assault has sparked presidential chatter.

Winfrey may have since (unfortunately) voiced her unwillingness to run for presidency in 2020, but that hasn’t stopped Donald Trump from throwing his two cents in by verbally attacking her on Twitter.

Last year, Winfrey mediated the news programme 60 Minutes to discuss politics with a group of voters – some voted for Donald Trump in 2016, others didn’t. On Sunday, Winfrey revisited the group for the same programme. And, of course, Donald Trump tuned in.

“Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes,” Trump wrote on Twitter.

“The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!”

Winfrey asked tough questions and allowed for everyone in the room to have their say by voicing their opinions on how Trump has handled his first term as the 45th president of the United States. Some of the voters may have now become friends, but Trump has just exposed how truly threatened he is by Winfrey.

Winfrey used a similar line of questioning when she interviewed Trump over 20 years ago. Back in 1998, she interviewed him about the possibility of running for president to which he said no to.

Here’s hoping Winfrey changes her mind to become the first female president of the United States.
