It’s been almost 30 years since the eighties hit TV series Dynasty left our screens, so when U.S. channel The CW announced its plans for a reboot, it was big news.
But how long would we have to wait to get our eyes on it in the U.K?
Thanks to Netflix, it seems not long at all.
According to Deadline, Netflix has secured the exclusive international rights to The CW’s Dynasty reboot meaning that we will be able to watch the upcoming episodes within just 24 hours of their U.S. premiere.

The original series followed two oil rich families, the Carringtons and the Colbys, in Denver, Colorado as they fought for control over their fortune and their children.
Excessive to the extreme, the show embodied the decadence by which the decade came to be defined through its outlandish story lines and over-the-top fashions.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the reboot will be told primarily through the perspectives of two women at odds: Fallon Carrington (Elizabeth Gillies) – daughter of billionaire Blake Carrington – who is poised to take over her father’s global energy empire and her soon-to-be stepmother, Cristal (Nathalie Kelley) – a Hispanic woman marrying into the WASP family and America's most powerful class.
With producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, who created both Gossip Girl and The O.C., on board, we can’t wait to tune in.
The show is expected to air this autumn on Oct. 11 simultaneously with its U.S. debut on The CW.
Until then, you can watch the trailer below.
