You know, we could all learn something from Emilia Clarke’s approach to criticism. Namely, how little attention she pays to it.

“I don’t Google myself; I don’t read reviews,” Clarke, 32, recently told the Daily Telegraph, explaining she prefers to avoid press – good and bad – and the ricocheting negative effect.

She added: “…it doesn’t help me to hear someone say, ‘You’re great,’ and it doesn’t help me to hear someone say, ‘Hey, you piece of sh*t, why are you so fat?’ Those are the extremes you deal with when you read about yourself on the internet, so I simply don’t.”

But three months after the Game of Thrones’ devastating finale brought the show to a controversial end, the actor admitted the backlash did get under her skin for one reason.
