While we are used to seeing red carpet pictures of celebrities giving their well-rehearsed 'photo face' and posing in the same angle every.single.time, there is one star who we can rely on to show her true feelings. That star is Emma Thompson.

Whenever the British actress attends an awards ceremony or premiere, she is the life of the party, flicking off any elitist A-list conventions just like that pair of Christian Louboutin's she tossed aside at this year's Golden Globes.

From photobombing Meryl Streep at the SAG Awards, to using a bottle of whiskey as a fake mic with James McAvoy at last night's Empire Film Awards, we might even go so far as to say she's the original 'Jennifer Lawrence'.

In celebration of her silliness, here are 15 of her most brilliant moments on the red carpet.
