Fancy dress fan's one year outfit challenge

You could say Mary Helen Saba likes dressing up.

The Sydney-based 26-year-old has tasked herself with creating a different costume for every day of the year and documenting the results on her blog theme-me.com.

A theme of "Less Waste, Better Results" brings up a prom dress made out of newspaper

"I get a sick satisfaction from a person approaching me to tell me how cool my costume is," Saba writes on her blog, by way of explanation for her creative hobby.

With five months of daily costuming up stretching ahead of her, Saba is keen for fans to submit outfit suggestions.

The digital product manager tries to coincide her creations with current events and wears costumes to the office, when they are "work-appropriate". She dressed up as an iPhone when she had to present a speech on the future of mobile.
