He’s a Hollywood film star, she’s a successful human rights barrister so we’re guessing spending quality time together isn’t something that happens that often.
But George Clooney, 54, has revealed that the couple use technology to stay in touch when they’re apart.
“FaceTime, we’ll do that,” he said as the pair appeared together at the LA premiere of his new movie Hail Caesar!
They also negotiate their schedules in order to spend time together. “Mostly it’s just try not to go very long. …We spend an awful lot of time together, we try not to have these huge gaps,” he said.
Recently, Amal Clooney, 37, has been a visiting professor of law at Columbia University in New York, meaning she can be based more in the US.
“We’re able to manage, so far between my work and her work and the things we’re doing, we’re able to manage it pretty well.”
The Clooneys met in 2013 at a charity fundraising event and wasted very little time, getting married at a glamorous wedding ceremony in Venice in 2014, attended by the likes of Cindy Crawford, Emily Blunt, Anna Wintour and Matt Damon.
