Before the Golden Globes earlier this year, several actresses – from Emma Watson and Sienna Miller to Meryl Streep – signed a powerful letter in support of the Time’s Up initiative. The initiative was created to help fund women from lower income backgrounds fight sexual abuse legal battles, and promote gender equality.

And social media users are in agreement with Willoughby as many posted their opinions below the Instagram post.

“Disgusting. So sick of this,” one user posted.

“Appalling. Shameful behaviour from our press!,” another user posted.

“Well said, Holly. This needs to change. You don’t see this happening to men,” another user wrote.

Willoughby isn’t the only female celebrity to have called out behaviour at this year’s Brit Awards. Singer Paloma Faith also felt disappointed in the lack of men showing their support for women.

“The only thing I’m upset about tonight is not more men carrying white roses. I think they should have,” Faith said.
