The Friends actor added: “I just thought: I have worked too hard in this life and this career to be whittled down to a sad, childless human.”

Her comments echo those she made in her essay, For The Record, which she penned for the Huffington Post back in July. At the time, she revealed that she had been left “fed up” after enduring years of pregnancy speculation pegged off her relationship status or her body – and that, more importantly, she was not going to sit back and take it any longer.

“For the record, I am not pregnant,” she wrote. “What I am is fed up. I’m fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of ‘journalism,’ the ‘First Amendment’ and ‘celebrity news’.”
