Back in January, Jen said her New Year's resolution was to get the long talked about Absolutely Fabulous movie made. She also told the show that she had a wager with comedy partner Dawn French that helped spur her on.

‘I had a bet with Dawn, if I didn’t write it that year I’d have to pay her £10,000 it was a good motivator and I just got in it on time. New Year’s Eve I gave it to her,’ she said.

Last we heard, the film was going by the title Edina & Patsy, after Jen and her onscreen booze-happy best pal, played by legendary Joanna Lumley, of course.

After an initial run on the BBC from 1992 to 1995, the cult that is Ab Fab aired a two-part finale event in 1996, it was revived from 2001 to 2004, and aired three TV specials between Christmas of 2011 and 2012.

But we are still left wanting more, and although they've joked about getting on watching these two never gets old that's for sure.

Jennifer was on the show to promote the Walk The Walk MoonWalk in London on May 16th in aid of breast cancer, as well as writing the script for the new movie over the last year we saw Jen join the cast of David Walliams's BBC One comedy The Boy in the Dress based on the BAFTA-nominated Mr Stink over Christmas.

Meanwhile Joanna Lumley is fronting a DEC televised appeal asking for donations to help those affected by the Nepal earthquake which helped to make £19m in one day.

Joanna also spoke at the fifth Women: Inspiration and Enterprise (WIE) awards in London this week- an event to honour women who have used their influence as entrepreneurs to make a difference to the lives of others.
