Call me Queen Louisa. My subjects could call me by my real name. Every time someone asks me why I’m called Foxes I have to tell this really long story about the dream my mum had about foxes making amazing music and people just sit there going, “Oh, god!” Initially, I didn’t want the responsibility of being queen. But then I realised it would be nice for a woman to have some power.

I’d love being a young ruler. I think I would make the world more fun, but it would be dangerous because there would be a lot of cake and sweets. It would be like a big kid running the country.

I’d be a playful leader. At The Grammys, me, Sam Smith and Disclosure were the British posse, giggling in the corner. The ceremony is really long so we went to get some beers and nearly missed when I won [Best Dance Recording with Zedd for Clarity]. I was in complete and utter shock; I went up with chewing gum in my mouth. It was like a dream. When Jay Z picked up his award he said, “Blue, I got you a gold sippy cup!” so perhaps I could use mine as a mug. Cup of tea anyone?

Coronation couture. Vivienne Westwood would dress me for the coronation. I’d wear flats, too. I don’t usually wear heels. At The Grammys I was cloppity-ing around in so much pain, I ended up having to take off my shoes and get a piggyback from Zedd at the Daft Punk party at 4am. I’d probably try to jump on the decks too. I did a show in Vegas for New Year’s Eve and I got so drunk I ended up taking over as DJ and just playing Drake Coming Home on a loop. I was kind of shuffled off by people saying, “Go home!”

I’d be a single queen. I’d rule alone. You get more things done and it’s nice to have freedom. I haven’t met my king yet so I don’t know… I fancy [actor] Joseph Gordon Levitt quite a lot. He’s ‘weird’ hot.

There would be daily pep-talks. Believing in myself has been challenging. It’s difficult in any career but in this one, really believing you can do something is quite difficult. You have your ups and downs. You’ve got to ignore the bad press and the good press and have your own opinion. I still feel I need to work harder. It’s so easy to get obsessed with little things when there’s so much more going on. I often pretend that I’m looking at myself from a bird’s eye view which makes things a lot clearer.

In the inevitable royal biopic… Anna Faris would play me. She’s hilarious. And mental. Or Drew Barrymore – because I adore her.

My palace would be in East London. I travel lots but nothing beats being around the people who keep you grounded. My mum lives across the road from me and in less than a minute I can have one of her homemade meals. I would have a sushi chef and an on-site bakery, a brilliant sound system, a studio, a disco room, a food fight room and lots of secret doors – you know when you push a button and everything swings round? And then, if possible, I’d have Narnia at the back of a wardrobe. It’d be a massive Disneyland-partyweird- place where you walk through and become a kid again like in Hook.

No frills for this queen. Getting people to do things for me makes me uncomfortable. I had a pedicure recently and spent the whole time apologising.

My crown jewels are precious. I can’t be without my fox ring and a necklace my best friend gave me. I wear them religiously. I only take them off to have a shower then I freak out that I’m going to lose them. When I’m working out and skipping the necklace hits me in the face but I don’t care.
