In the history of Hollywood feuds, the longstanding rivalry between pop icons Katy Perry and Taylor Swift seemingly lasted for an eternity.

Cast your mind back to 2014, and you might remember that the row began over backing dancers, when Swift told Rolling Stone that Perry had “basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour.” Perry then retaliated with an infamous tweet comparing Swift to Regina George. Swift followed up with a single ‘Bad Blood’ inspired by the dispute, and for five years after, the hostility between the stars stayed strong.

We’re living in a new era, however, and last month, Swift baked a plate of cookies for Perry complete with the message “Peace at Last”. Soon after, Perry proved the disagreement was officially over when she put in an appearance in Swift’s music video for ‘You Need To Calm Down’ as a burger to Swift’s fries. Now, the reconciliation is going from strength to strength and the newfound friends have finally found “trust” in each other.
